Green Chili has gained importantce as an nevitable condiment and vegetable in Bangladesh. It is used in Pickles, Sauces, Ketchup, essences, oleoresins and it is common ingredient in Bangladeshi dishes. An alkaloid capsaica is extracted from chili. which has medicinal values. Chili is also rich in vitamin C.
